Our proven, simple four-step process starts with uncovering a list of value words that you will expand and communicate using your own life experience, both professional and personal, to prove you actually own that value. By uncovering, expanding, proving, and communicating your value in response to your Listener’s needs, you are setting yourself apart from others in your professional crowd.

Why did you pick this person? Be specific.
What value(s) do you and this person share? List all that apply.
You’ve already uncovered at least one or more value words (adjectives) to work within responding to interview questions, ad hoc or planned meetings, or when networking.

It is that straight forward. While it will take some time and effort, you will quickly see how easy it is to uncover the values that make you professionally memorable.

We have compiled a list of Interview Keywords that you can download here. Review the list and if you find a keyword that you also have listed as a Value Word, ask yourself: “Do I own this value?”. If the answer is yes, pull the Value Statement from your Professional Brand that supports the keyword, along with your examples to prove your own that specific value. Remember, the more connections, or touchpoints (things you have in common), you are able to make with the Listener, the stronger your Professional Brand.
